In the Advanced Modeling course, we employ a range of sophisticated Grasshopper plug-ins within the Rhino environment to deepen our exploration of complex architectural forms. These plug-ins are instrumental in refining our understanding of advanced geometrical shapes and their applications in innovative building design. By leveraging these tools, we can generate intricate and unconventional structures, including hollow geometries, angular configurations, and other avant-garde forms that challenge conventional architectural paradigms.

Additionally, the course integrates 3D printing technology to bring these digital models into the physical realm. This process involves fabricating detailed mesh shells of the generated shapes, allowing for a tangible representation of our conceptual designs. The physical models serve as valuable assets for further analysis, enabling us to assess the structural and aesthetic implications of our designs and make informed decisions during the iterative design process. This hands-on approach enhances our ability to explore and visualize complex architectural solutions, bridging the gap between digital innovation and practical implementation.
